Partner growth key to QuickMobile’s 400 percent increase in mobile meeting app development in 2012
In 2012, QuickMobile, the global leader of mobile solutions for the meetings and events industry, has added more than 15 reseller and referral partners, including recent agreements with Bi-Worldwide, PR1ME and Redworks, to help expand QuickMobile’s international reach in the mobile apps for events market. Revenues driven by QuickMobile’s partner channel have increased more than 300 percent since the end of 2011. QuickMobile’s partners are among the largest meeting organizers, experiential marketing agencies and conference technology suppliers in the world. They also represent more than 30,000 industry events and meetings.
“Each of our partners play a significant role in the meetings space and have an extensive list of clients and a large number of events,” said Scott Lockey, director of global channels for QuickMobile. “Our vast partner relationships have allowed us to quickly expand our market share while providing American Meetings, PSAV, Jack Morton Worldwide and other event industry leaders with a world-class mobile solution that will help their customers create a more memorable event experience. Our partners are critical to our success, and we are committed to developing mobile apps that will help them strengthen their customer relationships and grow their businesses.”
Growing Market Share Around the World
QuickMobile’s partner strategy is focused on developing an international client base and establishing relationships with organizations that serve a variety of roles within the meeting and event industry. Among QuickMobile’s partners are companies that specialize in planning, design and marketing of events, technology and audio-visual equipment, and event logistics. QuickMobile has a firmly established presence in North America, and within the past year, QuickMobile has developed partnerships with companies in France, South Africa, United Kingdom, Netherlands and China.
“The UK and wider European event markets offer enormous potential for mobile event apps; the main driver being clients’ desire to generate far higher levels of delegate interaction and engagement,” stated Steve Eakins, Managing Director of Live Union, a London-based experiential marketing firm. “Live Union initially worked with QuickMobile on a project for a global professional services firm that delivered excellent results. Following this experience, it became clear that a partnership with QuickMobile would enable us to optimize the value of event apps for our wider client base. We had been looking for a partner who provided the balance of a proven technology platform with the right features, who also offered great value for the money and were committed to continuing to invest in their product in this rapidly changing market. QuickMobile answered that brief.”
QuickMobile’s Three Partner Programs
Patrick Payne, CEO of QuickMobile added, “Our partner channel is the fastest growing segment of our business, and helps to validate our technology and position in the industry, and highlight the explosive interest in mobile solutions as a way to extend engagement beyond the four walls of a convention hall. Many of our partners go through an extensive vetting process before ultimately entering an exclusive agreement with QuickMobile, and we are committed to their success.”
