QuickMobile Donates Furniture and Electronics from GBTA and WEC 2012 to Boys & Girls Clubs
Following the Global Business Travel Association in Boston, MA and the MPI World Education Congress 2012 in St. Louis, MO QuickMobile donated furniture and HDTVs to Boys & Girls Clubs in the respective communities. The items, including lounge chairs, tables, stools and 42 plasma HDTVs, were purchased new for QuickMobile’s event booths and meeting space at GBTA and WEC 2012. QuickMobile made a similar donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore following AIBTM 2012 in June.
As a leading provider of mobile event solutions, we are involved in hundreds of trade shows, meetings and conferences every year, and we are looking for ways to extend our support to the communities that we regularly visit, said Nicole Steele, Director of Marketing for QuickMobile. With our recent branding and website update, we are focusing more and more on the emotions and experience that people have at events, correlating them with childrens natural curiosity, enthusiasm and optimism. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and Greater St. Louis are doing wonderful things to create an environment where children are safe, happy and maintain a positive outlook on life. Hopefully, our small donations will make a positive contribution to that environment.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston received four lounge chairs, a set of coffee and end tables, a bar table and two bar stools and an HDTV.
We certainly appreciate the generosity of QuickMobile, said Josh Kraft, Nicholas President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. As a safe haven for children of the Boston area, we truly benefit when companies like QuickMobile take an interest in our organization. The furniture donations from QuickMobile allow us to keep our Clubs current and allocate our resources directly to programming.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis received a bar table and two stools, a large TV stand and an HDTV. Flint Fowler, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis, commented, This was an unexpected and wonderful donation from QuickMobile, and certainly sets an example for how other companies can support organizations like ours. Our kids are better because of this act of generosity.
