Patrick is our co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, he has more than 30 years experience as a pioneer in emerging technologies.
Prior to QuickMobile, Patrick was founder and CEO of Mobile Operandi Communication which developed the Mophone mobile consumer social networking service before being sold to Vantage Point Venture Partners in 2006. Previous to this, he spent 5 years at Ericsson as Director of Mobile Internet based in Brussels, Belgium where he was responsible for divisional sales, business development, mobile strategy, and external partnering. In 1989, Patrick co-founded Vancouver-based Memex Software which developed a digital TV management platform for global satellite broadcast systems. While working at Distinctive Software during the late 80's (now Electronic Arts Canada), Patrick scored the original music for the video game Test Drive which eventually grew into the world's best selling racing game franchise.
Patrick was a founding director of WaveFront AC, an organization that helps wireless companies with technology acceleration and commercialization. He also served for 5 years as a director at the Wireless Innovation Network of BC (WINBC) now DigiBC, which helps to foster collaboration amongst early-stage wireless companies in Canada.
Jim is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of QuickMobile. He is a veteran of both the personal computer revolution as well as the Internet revolution, with a colourful career spanning over 35 years in high technology R&D. During this time, he has participated in five startups, of which two he personally co-founded.
Jim's last startup venture was Vienna Systems, a pioneer in VoIP that was successfully acquired by Nokia in 1998. As part of this, Jim accepted the position of Chief Architect at the Nokia Mobile Phones Product Creation Centre in Vancouver with responsibility for leading the growth of the nascent site from 35 to over 400 people in less than four years. In this role, Jim led the drive to higher functionality mobile phones focusing on the delivery of media rich services in the mobile environment.
He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, and has a broad range of technical expertise including operating system design, telecommunications (fixed and wireless), and data communications.
Praveen is Chief Operating and Financial Officer of QuickMobile. He has over 25 years experience in the technology industry.
Prior to joining QuickMobile, he was the COO and CFO of Layer 7 Technologies, helping to secure more than $20 million in venture capital financing and negotiating the sale of the company to CA technologies. He has also worked as a contract COO and CFO for various companies, including Altus Solutions and Exigo Solutions. Praveen also served as CFO for fSONA Communications Corp, Eftia OSS Solutions and Opcom Solutions.
As QuickMobile's CMO, Robin is responsible for the marketing strategy and execution. She has over 20 years experience establishing and leading marketing in global technology organizations. Before joining QuickMobile, Robin was Vice President, Marketing for Active Network, the leader in activity and participant management. Prior to that, Robin held senior marketing positions in technology companies serving the energy, graphic arts, and security software markets.
In her previous roles, Robin was instrumental in seeing start-up and mid-size organizations through rapid growth phases to IPO. She has managed through more than 20 strategic acquisitions and partnerships that both increased market share and expanded the business footprint.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
As VP Sales, Rob is responsible for QuickMobile's sales efforts, as the company creates tighter connections between the customer experience and innovation. He has a proven15 year record of driving success throughout North America and Europe, maintaining consistent revenue growth and deeper customer relations.
Prior to his current role, Rob was VP Sales at Active Network, where he was responsible for acquisition sales integration and growth in the event management and public sector markets. Rob is a results driven change-agent who initiates decisions for high performance and corporate growth.
Robert is QuickMobile's Vice President, Engineering. He has more than 20 years of experience leading technical teams, managing the entire lifecycle of software system development, and building scalable and reliable SaaS solutions for small businesses and large enterprises.
Prior to joining QuickMobile, he was VP of Engineering for Vitria Technology, where he was responsible for all product development, quality assurance and DevOps functions for the real-time operations intelligence agency. He also served as senior director for engineering for CA, where he was responsible for implementing and supporting CA's cloud-based IT Service Management product suite. At CA, he also managed three engineering teams in four global locations.
A veteran of Silicon Valley, Chen has held various management and engineering positions at IBM, BEA and Oracle in addition to a number of successful start-ups.
As Vice President, Products, Craig is responsible for product strategy and delivery at QuickMobile. Craig brings a wide range of experience in software development and management gained over the past 23 years in the high-tech and telecom sectors, including senior roles in both large companies and start-up ventures.
Since 2004, Craig has pioneered new start-up firms in the mobile arena, including Mobile Operandi Communications, a mobile consumer social networking service, EQO Communications, a mobile VoIP solution, and Altus Solutions, a network performance and traffic management solution. Previously Craig held senior positions with Telus and Siemens in Canada, UK and Germany.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from North Staffs University.
Roohshan is the Vice President, Client Delivery. He is responsible for managing the delivery of all QuickMobile client projects. He brings over ten years experience in the high-tech industry spanning a wide range of roles within production and information technology.
In his previous role, Roohshan was instrumental in growing Blast Radius, a premier digital interactive agency, from a 100-employee firm based in Vancouver to a multinational firm with over 450 employees, $60 million in revenues and offices throughout North America and Europe. As part of the management team at Blast Radius, Roohshan provided technical consulting services to key clients such as Nike, Nintendo and Ford.
He also managed the implementation and rollout of company-wide enterprise information systems, including enterprise resource planning, business process engineering, and enterprise-wide business systems.
Roohshan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Northeastern University.
Christine plays an integral role in the creation of a fast-paced and stimulating work culture as VP, Human Resources. The company has enjoyed close to 100% year-over-year headcount growth since 2010. This has kept her recruitment team engaged and earned QuickMobile the title of '2013 Top Job Creator in Vancouver' as awarded by PROFIT Magazine.
As a member of the management team, Christine is the people advocate in the development and implementation of QuickMobile's corporate strategy. She oversees the rapid acquisition of talent and the development of that talent across a range of disciplines. Christine is responsible for compensation and benefits planning, performance management, employee relations and policy and procedure development.
Prior to joining QuickMobile, she spent 20 years working in a variety of industries including hospitality and tourism, creative and professional services consulting, and of course, high technology. The diversity of her experience in HR, organizational development, business development and marketing roles has provided Christine with a unique range of business skills and an unusually broad perspective. The result is a leader with the finesse to weave her way through the complexities of HR so that QuickMobile can continue to expand while nurturing a motivated and enriched team. Christine believes that everyone's role contributes to Customer Experience and has the potential to live the organization's brand values.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph and an HR Management Post-Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology
Scott is the Managing Director, Strategic Partners for QuickMobile. He has over 20 years experience in strategic relationships, sales leadership and building great teams for mobile and telecommunications companies. In his role at QuickMobile, he works with the world's largest companies in the event industry to help them take mobile event solutions to their clients. Originally from the UK, Scott has called Vancouver, B.C. home since he was a young lad.
Jeff is the Managing Director, Enterprise Sales for QuickMobile. He has over 15 years experience in sales management and new business development for the mobile, telecommunications, IT, and consulting industries. Jeff leads his team in the strategic sales of mobile event solutions to global enterprise organizations with a focus on building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Dan is Managing Director, Strategic Accounts at QuickMobile. He has over 25 years experience in strategic sales, operations and sales leadership for the technology, hospitality and event management industries. In this role, he works with Fortune 100 clients and other global brands to align their business objectives with the appropriate mobile event solution for their needs. Prior to joining QuickMobile, he was the Director of Inside Sales for Vivonet and operated his own sales consulting firm for technology and hospitality companies.
Banks is General Manager, EMEA at QuickMobile. In this role, he is responsible for new business development, strategic relationships, and sales management for QuickMobile's operations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He brings over 16 years of international business development and sales leadership experience, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Emerging Markets, EMEA for The ACTIVE Network. As part of ACTIVE's EMEA management team, Banks was vital in its success as the fastest growing division worldwide. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Banks is currently based in London, England.
