Quality Assurance Specialists

We are looking for tenacious and detail-oriented junior and intermediate level Quality Assurance Specialists. Working as members of our QA Team, you are relentless about optimizing the user experience related to look and feel and usability of our mobile applications and work closely with our development and delivery teams on the testing and engineering of mobile projects. Your recommendations will directly impact product evolution in the ever-changing mobile context. An exciting aspect of this role is the multi-platform testing environment that is already leveraging The QuickStart platform - QuickMobile's proprietary engagement, monetization and management engine for mobile applications for iOS, Blackberry, Android and Windows 7 platforms.

Responsibilities

• Test QuickMobile apps developed for different mobile products including mobile web sites and smart phones
• Evaluate user interfaces
• Create and execute test plans and test cases, perform significant manual testing
• Work closely with the product and development teams to understand product requirements, architecture and technology
• Resolve quality issues by communicating with the dev team using bug tracking software and email as required
• File, track and report defects
• Contribute to increasing automated test coverage

Requirements:

• 2-5 years QA experience or education with relevant coursework with a solid understanding of QA methodology
• Prefer experience in mobile development environments
• Proven diagnostic and debugging skills
• Knowledge of SQL
• High self-initiative
• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work hours
• Strong interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, written communication and presentation skills

Nice to Haves:

• Experience scripting / developing in JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, etc.
• Understanding of JSON based RESTful APIs
